As a former foster youth, Ar知one Clemmons keenly appreciates the value of an accessible, affordable education. This appreciation fuels his interest in advocating for our community colleges. Ar知one schedules and attends meetings with state constitutional officers, legislators, staff and agency directors; tracks and analyzes legislation; assists preparation of background materials for sponsored legislation; and compiles bill reports for clients. Prior to his work with McCallum Group, Ar知one worked for Cosumnes River College as a Mentorship Program Advisor for Extended Opportunity Programs and Services (EOPS), Enriched Scholars Program (Foster Youth), and Disability Support Programs & Services (DSPS.) In 2006 Ar知one served as a student intern for California Assemblymember Karen Bass of the 47th district. Ar知one was born in Richmond, California and raised in Sacramento. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from California State University Sacramento, Ar知one received his Associate of Arts degree in Human Services from Cosumnes River College, and was an Honor Roll student on the Dean痴 list at American River College. A池mone is a licensed insurance agent in California. |
